Biography
Lindsey Drager’s prose has appeared in Gulf Coast, Black Warrior Review, Cream City Review, Quarterly West, and Kenyon Review Online. She is a PhD candidate at the University of Denver where she edits the Denver Quarterly. She is the author of a novel, The Sorrow Proper (Dzanc).

There was a socket in the wall my mother told me not to touch. The wire innards of the plug spilled out of the unguarded hole. The wires looked like black spaghetti.
