Daniele Pantano
Daniele Pantano is a Swiss poet, artist, literary translator, critic, and editor. His most recent works include Robert Walser: Comedies (Seagull Books), ORAKL (Black Lawrence Press), Robert Walser’s Fairy Tales: Dramolettes (New Directions), and Dogs in Untended Fields: Selected Poems by Daniele Pantano (Wolfbach Verlag). Pantano currently teaches at the University of Lincoln.

Mears takes your name. As soon as you say it, he speaks it in quick echo, and it is now his and no longer yours. We don’t know what he does with it or what it does for him, but we do know what happens to those he pilfers.
